The battle between Yogurt Academy (bracket number 3) and Jatkosota High School (bracket number 4) was the third match of the first round of 41st Winter Continuous Track Cup Sensha-dō Tournament. The match grounds consisted of a desert. The match resulted in a victory of Jatkosota, allowing the school to move on to the quarter-finals.

Battle

Four of Yogurt's Panzer 38(t), one as the flag tank, advanced toward Jatkosota's BT-42, which served as the flag tank. In hand-to-hand combat between the tanks, the BT-42 hit the front of one of the Panzer 38(t), causing it to turn to the side, giving the BT-42 a clear shot at the rear armor of the Panzer 38(t) flag tank.

Aftermath

Yogurt could have won the match if he had taken into consideration some factors, such as keeping some tank protecting the flag tank from behind, trying to get all four tanks together in a joint attack on the BT-42, and the fact that Jatkosota had a huge disadvantage in desert terrain, as seen in the quarterfinals of the 63rd National High School Sensado Tournament against Kuromorimine.

On the other hand, because the entire course of the match is unknown, it is not possible to be sure whether Jatkosota really had any disadvantage, as Jouko would probably be playing, even though it was not shown, but she probably annihilated many tanks during the match. It cannot be said with certainty that Jatkosota won by luck, as Mikko's skills in drifting the BT-42 contributed to the victory. Jatkosota will fight Saunders University High School in the quarterfinals.

Trivia

• This may be the first time that Jatkosota has won a match in desert terrain, as they are more accustomed to fighting in snowy terrain.
• In the national tournament matches against Waffle and St. Gloriana, Yogurt operated the Panzer 38(t) as Ausf.G. But in the match against Jatkosota, Yogurt operated the Panzer 38(t) as Ausf.B/C.
• This is the only battle seen in the anime where it is not known who is the flag tank of a combatant school.
