The battle between Waffle Academy (bracket number 13) and St. Gloriana Girls' College (bracket number 14) was the seventh match of the first round of 41st Winter Continuous Track Cup. The match grounds consisted of an urban area and a bridge. The match resulted in a victory of St. Gloriana, allowing the school to move on to the quarter-finals.

Battle

As usual, Rosehip in her Crusader quickly advanced towards Waffle's remaining tanks only to be hit by Waffle's AMC-35 flag tank. This provided an opportunity for the Churchill, which was defending the Matilda flag tank, to fire on the AMC-35. After the AMC-35 was shot down, Rosehip's Crusader soon crashed into the metal ring of the bridge, being eliminated as well.

Aftermath

Just like other matches in the first round, the match between Waffle and St. Gloriana didn't need any mystery to know who would be the winner. However, even though the difference in tanks between the two teams was obvious, Waffle still managed to demonstrate resistance until the end, taking down Rosehip's Crusader. After Waffle's elimination, Darjeeling and Orange Pekoe, inside Churchill, toast to celebrate the victory. St. Gloriana will fight Anzio High School in the quarterfinals.

Trivia

• The bridge featured in the match is very similar to the Arnhem Bridge, called the John Frost Bridge in honor of the British Commander that defended the bridge during the Battle of Arnhem - it is also the titular bridge in the 1977 film A Bridge Too Far.
• This is the first time that Waffle has managed to take down a tank in a match, as it is unknown if Waffle has destroyed any tanks in the 63rd Tournament first round match against Yogurt Academy.
  • It is possible to see a Matilda shot down near the St. Gloriana tanks, but it is not certain that Waffle shot it down as well. It is most likely that it turned over during combat.
