Semla (セムラ) is a side character of the manga Girls und Panzer: Ribbon Warrior.
Profile[]
Semla is the overall commander of Viggen High School, she commands a Strv m/40.
Appearance[]
Semla is a short girl with long blond hair and light brown eyes. She is seen wearing Viggen's sensha-do uniform.
Personality[]
Semla appears to be a quite energic girl. She also seem to be a caring girl worrying about Eclair having her stomach aches.
Background[]
She fought during the eighth match of the Cauldron Tankathlon Tournament first round against Maginot Girls' Academy. She commanded a Strv m/40. She was eventually destroyed by Eclair and Fondue's FT-17s. She then fight under Maginot Girls' Academy guidance in the second round.
During the second round, Semla is seen commanding two Strv m/40 part of Green Team. It is unknown how she performs during the match, she might participate the attack of Red Team remnants after the destruction of Oni Team. After the end of the second she eventually withdrawn from the Cauldron tournament for unknown reasons.
She is later seen participating to a challenge Sensha-dō match supporting Tatenashi's Centipede Team against Bonple High School, commanding her Strv m/40.

- Semla is named after the semla a traditional sweet roll made in Scandinavia and Baltic countries.
- Semla's outfit is inspired by the 1974 Anime Vicky The Viking made in German Co-production with Nippon Animation.
