Erika (恵梨花) and Karin (花梨) are characters featured in Girls und Panzer: The Fir Tree and the Iron-Winged Witch.
Profile[]
Erika and Karin are first year students of Count High School, they are gunner and loader in Noemi Kohiyama's T.3 (Panzer III Ausf.N).
Appearance[]
Erika and Karin are medium-sized girl with long light brown hair tied with a pink ribbon and three hair pins and dark green eyes. They are seen wearing Count's Sensha-dō uniform during matches and probably the normal school uniform outside of matches.
Personality[]
They are seen to be quite enthusiastic, quite confident about their commander's capabilities and keep their calm under fire. Erika is known to make sweets and bring some in the tank for her crewmates, she is also a quite capable gunner. Karin seems to be very caring about her sister being the older one.
Background[]
Karin and Erika were born into a family that owns 300 years-old textile factory. They enlisted in Count High School's Witch Department, they joined Sensha-dō team where they were assigned to Noemi Kohiyama's Tank N°3 (T.3 tank) as gunner and loader.
The twins are seen manning the main gun of Noemi's tank (callsign Tank N°3) in a practice match against Saunders University High School. During the match they were, alongside Anna, quite supportive to Noemi being nervous of her first time as tank commander, Erika also destroyed two Shermans (one paired with the TA). During the retreat Erika snipe down Alisa's M4A1(76) Sherman but as the angle wasn't optimal the shell bounce on the cast turret and their tank receive a hell of fire in return during which they witness their commander fell unconscious. When Erika was waking up Noemi Karin and Anna were checking the damage on the T.3.
After a while the crew gets to repairing the tank.

- They are the second pair of twin to appears in the franchise after Kashiwaba sisters.
- Karin is the older twin.
- They can distinguished with their ribbon and hair pins.
- Karin wore her ribbon tied on the left and Erika on the right.
- Karin have two hair pins on the left and one on the right while Erika have one on the left and two on the right.
- They have a three year older brother.
- Erika's hobby is making sweets (like Papanași which she brings with her to match and eats it during the retreat) and Karin's one is taste sewing.
- Erika is afraid of crocodiles and alligators because she find them scary.
- Even Noemi has trouble telling them apart when not in their tank positions as when Erika wakes Noemi up she mistakes her for Karin.
