"Sargasso" Murakami is the starboard gunner and loader of Shark Team's Mark IV male tank.
Appearance[]
Murakami is a physically well-built girl, more muscular than other girls of Shark Team. She has black spiked hair, sharp-looking eyes, and speaks rashly.
Personality[]
Murakami can be considered to have a "thug-like" personality. She is rather impatient, hot-headed, likes to brawl, and has a habit of jumping to conclusions, such as when she mistook Rabbit Team's action of pushing Shark Team across the river when they got stuck for ramming them out of spite; she is also quick to apologize whenever she is proven wrong. Her chosen challenge against Anglerfish Team in Bar Donzoko was brawling, which she lost because Miho Nishizumi was able to dodge every blow. Her weapon of choice is a plastic knife used in a Pop-up Pirate toy.
Despite her brutal personality, she seems to have a gentle side, shown when she plays with Rabbit Team, scaring them for fun, and when she offers Katyusha a piggyback ride, mistaking her for a lost child.
Trivia[]
- Murakami seems to be the polar opposite of Cutlass. Accordingly, both also serve as gunner and loader on opposite sides of the Mark IV.
- Her physical strength is shown to be equal to that of Anteater Team.
- Murakami's moniker, "Sargasso," is a reference to the Sargasso Sea, a marine region in North Atlantic characterized by its brown sargassum seaweed and relatively calm blue waters.
- Her name is most likely a reference to "Murakami Navy", also know as the "Murakami Kaizoku (Murakami pirates)." They were the largest pirate group in Japanese history, active from the 14th to 16th centuries.
