Moyoko Gotou better known as Gomoyo (後藤 モヨ子, Gotō Moyoko or ゴモヨ, Gomoyo) is the driver of the Mallard Team and one of the supporting protagonists of Girls und Panzer.
Profile[]
Moyoko is a second year student from Ooarai Girls High School. She's a member of the public morals committee. She's the driver of Mallard Team's Char B1 bis.
Appearance[]
Moyoko is a girl with a pair of black eyes and with a specific black mikado „Kappa“ hair-style with pronounced bangs, whats is recommend hairstyle on Oarai and significant hair-style for members of Oarai's Public Morals Committee. In comparation with another two members of Mallard team her hair are longest. She also whear standardised Oarai uniform with Public Morals Comitee band on a left arm .
Personality[]
Not much is known about the personality of the public morals committee members (aside from their leader, Sodoko). However, both her and Pazomi have shown to be very quiet and obedient to their leader.
Etymology[]
- Moyoko's surname Gotou means "township, hometown, village, native place, district" (後) (go) and "wisteria" (藤) (tou).
Trivia[]
- She share same Japanese seyuu with another members of Mallard team.
- Moyoko's favorite flower is Olive whats is appropriate to her Birthday, since she have Birthday on 28th October whats is typical autumn time for with is Olive significant in Sinosphere culture.
- She have Birthday on same day as Czechoslovakia been established in 1918, and on same day as Greco-Italian war started in 1940.
- Her favorite tank is the British TOG2.
- Moyoko's nickname refers to the Biblical city of Gomorrah. Her nickname comes in pair with Midoriko Sono's one (Sodoko) with refer on Biblical city of Sodom. Ironically, Sodom and Gommorah was a cities with a reputation for wickedness among its people - a far cry from Moyoko's and Midoriko's position as a member of Ooarai's Public Morals Committee. Anyways there can be also connection with Moral comitee duo Sadoka and Mazoe whose names refer on Sadomasochism with is connected with behaiviour with is example of wickedness in Sodom and Gommorah.
