Mikko (ミッコ) is one of the supporting characters of Girls und Panzer der Film, and Girls und Panzer das Finale.
Profile[]
Mikko is a member of the Jatkosota's Sensha-Do Team, and is the driver of a Finnish BT-42.
Appearance[]
Mikko is an short height girl with middle long reddish brown hair tided up in to two little braids on sides of head, and with pronounced bangs. She have a pair of brown eyes. She is seen to wear Jatkosota Sensha-do uniform. Not like another of her teammates, she wear under her skirt rolled up light blue trousers with two grey verical stripes on sides. She also have big winter boots and thick socks. She is usually seen with mischievous grin.
Personality[]
Little is shown about Mikko's personality except that she seems to be hot-blooded, energetic and a very skillful driver as she manages to drive the BT-42 in high speed without its tracks by switching the levers with a driving wheel. She is also seen to have pretty good appetite for food.
Background[]
She first appears during the match of the Ooarai Compound Team against the All-Stars University Team. Along with Aki & Mika in their BT-42, she helps the Hetzer, CV.33 & Type 89B take out the Karl-Gerät 040 by distracting and disposing of its escort of three M26 Pershings. She is later seen the piloting boat with Mika & Aki and doesn't stay until the end of match.
Trivia[]
- Like her teammates from Jatkosoka, she might be inspired by one of The Moomins, original Finnish Muumit characters, with Mikko being Little My.
- Mikko's birthday is November 22nd, the same date in 1940 as Finland agrees to allow transit rights to German troops en route to north Norway in return for arms supplies.
