The battle between Kuromorimine Girls' Academy (bracket number 9) and Maginot Girls' College (bracket number 10) was the fifth match of the first round of 41st Winter Continuous Track Cup. From what was shown, the match grounds consisted of a flat area and bunkers. The match resulted in a victory of Kuromorimine, allowing the school to move on to the quarter-finals.

Battle

When Maginot's tanks entrenched themselves in a bunker, Eclair soon realized that cavalry tactics did not work against Kuromorimine. Meanwhile, a battalion of Kuromorimine's Panzers advanced towards the bunker where Maginot's tanks were. As they prepare their sights, Erika orders the attack, immediately starting a barrage of fire against Maginot's tanks, destroying an R35, Eclair's SOMUA and the Char B1 used as a flag tank, leading Kuromorimine to victory.

Aftermath

Even though Kuromorimine had recently changed commanders, the victory for them was already obvious, especially with Maginot's outdated defensive tactics used in the match, a tactic that always led them to defeat. If Eclair used the tactics used against Ooarai and Anzio, the match would take a different turn, but they would be defeated anyway. Kuromorimine will fight Pravda High School in the quarterfinals.

Trivia

• The match grounds made up of bunkers is a reference to the Maginot Line, a failed fortified line that runs from the Luxembourg border to Switzerland, and which has been referenced several times in the series.
• A German and French-themed teams fighting both against each other and in a bunker is a reference not only to the Maginot Line mentioned earlier, but also to the Battle of France, won by Germany.
• This battle would be the last in which the tactics employed by the Nishizumi Style are put into practice in the series. After that, Erika would follow a different way and adopt new tactics.
