Kafka (カフカ) is a side character of the manga Girls und Panzer: Ribbon Warrior.
Profile[]
Kafka is the overall commander of Gregor High School. She commands a LT vz.38 (Panzer 38(t) Ausf.G) and eventually a CKD AH-IV tankette.
Appearance[]
Kafka is a tall girl with long black hair, a straight cut fringe, and black eyes. She is seen wearing two different versions of Gregor's sensha-do uniform: a simpler early version, and later a more elaborate revision.
Personality[]
Kafka appears to be rather emotionless and serious, giving her orders directly and expecting the rest of her team to obey. However, she is shown to be quite grateful to her teammates and comrades when they provide support, and ready to return the support as needed.
Background[]
She fought in the last match of the Cauldron Tournament, first round, against West Kureouji Grona Academy. Eventually commanding a CKD AH-IV tankette, she was likely destroyed by Kiri Shiratori's Tetrarchs. She then fought under West Kureouji Grona Academy guidance in the second round.
During the second round Kafka is seen commanding two LT vz.38s as part of Pink Team, along side her vice-commander Mucha; the first time her team had participated in such a large-scale match. After the destruction of Mucha's tank she took part in the anti-ONI task force, where she was destroyed. After the end of the second round she withdrew from the Cauldron Tournament, as all of her tanks were damaged and all her teammates exhausted.
She is later seen participating in a challenge Sensha-dō match supporting Tatenashi's Centipede Team against Bonple High School, commanding her LT vz.38 and showing her new uniform.
Trivia[]
- Kafka is named after the famous Czech writer Franz Kafka.
- Kafka's look and also a behavior little bit, is probably inspiraited by that writer.
- She bears a striking resemblance to Shiho Nishizumi because of her hairstyle, seemingly cold personality, and emotionless face.
