Episode 5.5 "Allow Me to Introduce You!" "Shoukai Shimasu!" (ガールズ&パンツァー 紹介します!) is the first recap episode of Girls und Panzer. It was originally aired on November 13, 2012 in Japan.
Plot[]
Unlike the previous episodes, this episode does not directly contribute to the story and was conceived as a filler episode due to production delays.
The episode involves Anglerfish Team presenting details and trivia about the girls in the Ooarai sensha-dō club and their tanks.
Each member of the individual crews is introduced, along with several physical and personality traits. Each girl also reveals her favourite tank.
The current tanks in Ooarai's possession are also described, along with their specifications and aesthetic appeal. The tanks encountered thus far during the matches with St. Gloriana Girls College and Saunders University High School are also covered.
There is also a quick recap on major events up to the present episode. The match against St. Gloriana is covered in detail. The Anglerfish Team also comment on the match against Saunders from a mid-battle perspective.
