Bosporus (ボスポラス) is a side character of the manga Girls und Panzer: Ribbon Warrior.
Profile[]
Bosporus is the overall commander of Kebab High School; she commands a Renault R35.
Appearance[]
Bosporus is a girl of average height with long black hair and brown eyes. She is at first seen wearing Kebab's overall commander sensha-do uniform, but later changes to a revised uniform.
Personality[]
Bosporus appears to be a serious and refined woman. After being beaten to the ground by Darjeeling in the Cauldron Tournament, she is also seen to be very humble and respectful.
Background[]
She fought during the penultimate match of the Cauldron Tankathlon Tournament, first round, against Guy Fawkes Team (Black Tea Mask). After being astonished by Darjeeling's ability to quickly destroy all her tanks, she is ultimately destroyed by Darjeeling's Harry Hopkins. She then fought under Guy Fawkes Team's guidance in the second round.
During the second round, Bosporus is seen commanding three R35s as part of Pink Team. The details of how she performed during the match are unknown, but she managed to survive the entire round without being destroyed. She then withdrew from the Cauldron Tournament after the second round for unknown reasons.
She is later seen participating in a challenge Sensha-dō match supporting Tatenashi's Centipede Team against Bonple High School, commanding her R35 and showing her new uniform.
Trivia[]
- Bosporus is named after the Bosporus Strait located in Istanbul separating the Asian and European parts of Turkey.
- She doesn't wear the same outfit between chapter 25 and 32.
