Assam (アッサム, Assamu) is a supporting character in Girls und Panzer.
Profile[]
Assam believes that wars are won through knowing thy enemy. Infiltration, eavesdropping, and data collection - she does it all, as St. Gloriana Girls' College's intelligence specialist. All that knowledge goes towards one objective - ensuring that the guns of St. Gloriana's tanks strike true on their targets. When called to battle, Assam tips the scales in St. Gloriana's favor from the turret of their Churchill infantry tank. A keen gunner, she knows where to strike to bring her team closer to victory.
Outside the tank, Assam carries herself with the grace and poise of a St. Gloriana lady - albeit, with a penchant for bad jokes. That being said, Assam is also one of the more level-headed members of St. Gloriana's inner circle, which only begs the question: just how eccentric are the rest of the members of their "Tea Garden"?
Appearance[]
Assam has a slim build, with long pale blonde hair, and light purple eyes. She ties her hair back with a large black ribbon, revealing a widow's peak hairline.
She usually dresses in the regular St. Gloriana's uniform, and accessorizes it with black nylon tights. In combat, Assam wears St. Gloriana's red uniform.

Trivia[]
- Assam's favorite flowers are miniature roses, and her favorite tank is the British Cruiser Mk. VIII, also known as the Challenger.
- Assam's birthday is December 10th. On this day in 1941, British naval ships HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse were sunk by Imperial Japanese Navy torpedo bombers, in the South China Sea.
- Assam's soul name comes from Assam tea, which is named after the region in India from which it comes from.
- Assam has an older brother.
