The 62nd National High School Senshado Tournament was the last senshado tournament before the events of the series.
This tournament saw the upset defeat of the reigning champions (Kuromorimine) by Pravda; this was due to Miho Nishizumi leaving her flag tank to save a drowning Panzer III crew after their tank slid into the river, which made the flag tank an easy target. This marked the unexpected end of an impressive nine-year victory streak by the Kuromorimine Girls' Academy senshado team.
In Girls und Panzer: Saga of Pravda[]
The Spin-off manga, Saga of Pravda covers the story of Pravda High School's preparation for the 62nd Tournament. It also shows the partial list of participants(those who have fought against Pravda and St. Gloriana) and provides some information for the bracket.
Note: Content originated from spin-offs are mostly not canon, including Saga of Pravda. This means the following participant list is not to be considered canon like the main series anime. The only confirmed canon information or lore about this tournament are the scenes from Miho's flashbacks in the anime.
